Ursa Major, in Latin meaning "great bear," is a constellation visible throughout the northern hemisphere. Within Ursa Major, the Big Dipper, useful for its indication pointing of North, dominates Ursa Major's bear figuration in the night sky. Being an outdoor initiative company, Ursa Outdoor adopted the idea of sleeping under the stars and their exploration utility to represent the on going passion for playing outside. Ursa Outdoor is also a Montana company. Montana is home to the most powerful and majestic animal of the forest, the Grizzly Bear. The stars seemed to align.
